Kaj Alexander Klocke // Honours Student 2024

I'm exploring design through a variety of disciplines, but my focus is always on enhancing user experience through thoughtful design, driven by my passion for crafting solutions that resonate with people. With a curious interest in the intersection of design and technology, I'm on a journey to contribute to the tech landscape while embracing new opportunities. I enjoy diving into new topics and skills therefore I'm always looking out for new learning opportunities to continually refine my craft.

This year, I focused on my UX/UI Design skills through the Google UX Design Certificate while keeping my design range broad. This included projects like the Inktober challenge, a student charter redesign pitch, and a book cover redesign. I also co-organized a Ceilidh and designed its promotional materials.

The emergence of artificial intelligence is shaking up the art and design world, offering new creative tools while raising questions about ownership and bias. This highly polarizing topic bridges technology and design, constantly evolving, making it the focus of my video dissertation exploring the role of AI tools in the creative process.
